Phatfour has introduced a new anti-theft service: Phatfour Connected.
With this service, Phatfour fatbikes are once again insurable. Thanks to a built-in tracker, the bike can always be located via an app—and what’s innovative for this segment is that, in the event of theft, the motor can be remotely disabled.
Betronic, the existing supplier of Phatfour’s motor controller, made this innovation possible by:
• Developing the new, innovative IoT module
• Designing and implementing the communication between the motor controller and the IoT module
To offer a complete solution to both the bike manufacturer and the end user, Betronic collaborates with partners ConneqTech / AXA IN Connect and KPN.
